1. What are cookies?

2. Why do we use cookies?
Betao.se stores only what it needs to work. We use no marketing cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party profiling cookies, and we do not build a profile of you or share data about you with advertisers.
a) Strictly Necessary
We store your choice on the cookie notice, so that it does not reappear on every page. This is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, is never transmitted to us, and the site cannot remember your preference without it.
b) Measurement — without cookies
We measure how many people visit which pages using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first and cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, reads no cookies or other browser storage, and does not identify individual visitors.
We previously used Google Analytics. It has been removed.
c) Embedded content — only when you ask for it
The film on our home page loads content from Vimeo only when you actively click it, and is requested with Vimeo’s do-not-track flag set. Our typeface is served from our own servers, so nothing is requested from Google Fonts.
If you never click the film, no request is made and nothing is stored.
3. Legal basis and your consent
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidance from IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), we only place non-essential cookies after we have obtained your informed and explicit consent.
Because this site sets no non-essential cookies, and because our measurement is cookieless, there is in practice nothing for you to consent to. We still show a notice so that you know what we do, and so the mechanism is already in place should that ever change.
You can clear your stored preference at any time through your browser’s privacy settings.
4. How to manage or disable cookies
You may also configure your browser settings to block or delete cookies. However, please note that some features of our website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
